Beyond being a literary star, MJ has a special gift: he’s trained to detect his owner’s blood sugar levels, alerting her with a unique “tail-chase”—clockwise or counterclockwise—to signal highs or lows. He absolutely loves visiting bookstores and libraries for readings and signings, and he’s even planning a book tour for 2026!
When MJ joins your event—be it a library reading, school visit, party, hospital, or nursing home—he travels in comfort in his stroller, where he happily accepts gentle pets. While he remains on a leash, he can be held by seated guests, depending on his mood that day. His mission is to spread joy, inspire readers, and meet wonderful people.
